This is not Jane Austen's classic novel, "Pride and Prejudice." Instead, it is a paraphrase, summary, or re-write of her work, which robs the original of its whimsy, humor, and dramatic tone. One could simply watch one of many film versions of the novel if simply knowing the plot was one's goal.
Well, lesson learned for me, and you can always ignore my opinion. It's freely given, and you can take it for what you believe it's worth. Happy reading to all!

I got this specific book for a friend, who wanted me to tell her about what books she should read. So, I got her a softer Pride and Prejudice book, she loved it.
